NEW RECRUIT
Your first week in Dauntless
Your first week is about getting connected, becoming group-ready, and learning how Dauntless communicates in the field.
Get connected
Join Discord, set your in-game name, meet a Mortal leader or officer, and make sure you can hear command clearly in voice comms.
Become group-ready
Share your build and current skills with a veteran. We will help identify practical gear, consumables, and training priorities without wasting resources.
Join the group
Attend a roam, dungeon run, duel session, or logistics operation. Ask questions early and stay with your assigned group or caller.
Learn the standards
Be mature, active, and dependable. Keep sensitive guild information inside guild channels and treat allies and guildmates with respect.

COMBAT
PvP fundamentals
Individual skill matters, but Dauntless wins by controlling space, protecting teammates, and acting on the same information.
Stay with the formation
Do not chase kills through your frontline. Maintain spacing, watch your flanks, and stay close enough to receive support or peel for others.
Follow target calls
Confirm the caller before the fight. Swap targets quickly, avoid cluttering combat comms, and report only information the group can act on.
Manage stamina
Keep enough stamina to block, reposition, or disengage. A player who empties the bar at the wrong time becomes a liability to the formation.
Review every fight
After the fight, identify what worked, what broke down, and one adjustment for the next engagement. Losses are information, not excuses.
